FHI 360 is delighted to announce that we are combining the operations of our U.K. subsidiary, Konung International, and our London-based operations into FHI 360 UK. In 2019, we opened an office in London to support our strong partnership with the U.K. government, and in 2020 we acquired Konung International, an international development consultancy that delivers innovative governance and public financial management programs.
For more than 50 years, FHI 360 has leveraged data and science to identify proven solutions to improving the health and well-being of people everywhere. Today our world faces greater challenges than any in living memory, with the hard-won development gains of recent decades in peril and new threats continuously emerging. Standing united in the face of these challenges is more urgent than ever. We believe that by working together with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and the U.K. development community, we can make an even greater difference in the world as we strive to improve global health and education, reduce violence and empower women and girls.
