Advancing Partners and Community-Based Family Planning Grant awarded to JSI, FHI 360
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — FHI 360 has been named a technical partner in the Advancing Partners and Community-Based Family Planning Cooperative Agreement that the U.S. Agency for International Development has awarded to JSI Research and Training Institute, Inc.
Advancing Partners and Community-Based Family Planning is a five-year program aimed at growing and supporting community-based organizations in developing countries around the world and particularly in Africa. FHI 360 will provide technical assistance to local entities to expand community-based health services in both rural and urban communities. The project will help local community-based groups and nongovernmental organizations design and implement interventions focused on family planning, as well as other health issues including HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health and other infectious diseases.
