“Design Squad Global” hooks up U.S., Africa kids in STEM exchange

To increase the importance of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, “Design Squad Global,” an online hub, connects U.S. youth 8–13 years old with counterparts in Botswana, South Africa and Swaziland. The program is a partnership between Boston’s public broadcaster WGBH, the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and FHI 360.
