Michael Mazza, MS
Director, Information Solutions and ServicesMichael Mazza provides leadership and management to solve complex cross-functional information technology challenges. A key component of his work at FHI 360 involves developing technology solutions that meet the needs of U.S.-based headquarters operations as well as the needs of senior project staff in the organization’s country offices and practice areas. He is passionate about providing business value through the strategic delivery of technologies that improve organizational productivity, reduce complexities and empower decisionmakers with information.
Mazza has extensive experience working with multinational organizations, as well as more than 30 years of experience in program, project and general management. He has managed several large cross-functional and organization-wide initiatives, including global implementation of an international human resources system. Mazza also led the technology integration when Family Health International acquired the assets of the Academy for Educational Development, thus forming FHI 360. Before joining FHI 360, Mazza was senior director of information technology security and risk management at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and Brown & Williamson Tobacco. He has also held positions as global program manager in human resources at British American Tobacco and as client systems manager at Brown & Williamson.
Mazza earned a Bachelor of Science in information systems from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Science in computer science from Mercer University’s School of Engineering.
