Keith F. HourihanDirector, Compliance and Investigations
Keith F. Hourihan provides strategic leadership for compliance and investigations across FHI 360 and its subsidiaries. His responsibilities include developing operational plans and implementing policies for reporting, investigating compliance concerns and potential fraud, and identifying and mitigating potential conflicts of interest. He leads all of FHI 360’s fraud prevention, awareness and investigative activities in the United States and country offices.
Hourihan has more than 17 years of experience in compliance, internal auditing, investigations, financial systems and risk management. He joined FHI 360 in 2014 as a manager for compliance and internal audits based in Zagreb, Croatia, where he oversaw audit activities and internal investigations for regional offices in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Prior to coming to FHI 360, he managed the internal audit function at Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI) and worked at several nonprofit organizations. Hourihan began his career with the U.S. Peace Corps, serving as an economic development volunteer in Panama.
Hourihan has a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and completed postbaccalaureate work in finance and accounting at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He is a certified fraud examiner.
