The Secondary Education Quality Improvement Program in Guatemala will improve the quality and relevance of lower secondary education to ensure youth complete studies and are prepared for the labor market.
Funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, this program aims to improve educational opportunities for economically disadvantaged students in lower secondary schools (grades 7-9) and out-of-school youth living in municipalities with high crime rates.
This report shares the methodology, results and lessons learned in the Development Assets and Student Success Pilot Program in El Salvador, part of the USAID-funded Education for Children and Youth Program (ECYP).
