As one way of ensuring that the available – and growing – evidence base on integrated development is applied to funding, policy and program contexts, FHI 360 convenes global and national decision makers for dynamic discussions that explore the relevance and effectiveness of integrated, multisector approaches.
We are also committed to translating what is collectively learned through research and programming experiences into practical resources for the broader development community. For example, as part of the PROGRESS project, FHI 360 designed and assessed three separate models for integrating family planning services and referrals into other development programs, including environmental conservation, microfinance and agriculture. To ensure that the findings were utilized, staff created training and promotional materials for use by funders and program designers in replicating and scaling up these promising interventions.
