FHI 360’s experts have been working closely with officials in South Sudan on issues related to education and health since before the country was established. Our work helps the national and state education ministries access, understand and use vital school statistics from the national, county and village levels. We have provided the education ministries with technical assistance in budgeting, human resource planning and education materials.
FHI 360 also is helping to improve access to quality HIV prevention services among populations with a high likelihood of exposure to HIV. We are currently leading a consortium that is working to prevent HIV among sex workers, their clients and long-distance truck drivers in Central Equatoria State, Western Equatoria State and Eastern Equatoria State.
