
UN, Olympics Leaders Hear about GROW Girls Program
APRIL 2012 — Zambia's Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) in Lusaka was recently honored with a visit from United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge. During the visit, the dignitaries heard from participants in an FHI 360 program that partners with OYDC to integrate HIV prevention and other valuable life skills into its sports programming.

Corridors of Hope Builds Capacity for Good Health
APRIL 2011 — FHI and its partners are empowering local communities to support behavior change through organized training in radio production. Now a series of radio programs in the Namwanga language is giving the Ntindi community on the border between Zambia and Tanzania an opportunity to voice their problems and find home-grown solutions to complex issues such as HIV, alcohol abuse, and early marriage.
