JANUARY 2011 – FHI Egypt recently disseminated the results of the 2010 Biological Behavioral Surveillance Survey (Bio-BSS) among most-at-risk populations (MARPs). FHI collaborated with the Egyptian Ministry of Health on the study, which was funded by the Global Fund.

FHI Egypt Spreads the Word about Harm Reduction
JUNE 2009 — FHI Egypt recently developed three Arabic language posters on harm reduction in partnership with the local Egyptian NGO Befrienders. Funded by the Ford Foundation, the posters address the needs of injecting drug users, discuss safer sex, and detail the services provided by the Befrienders comprehensive care center (CCC) where they hang.

JANUARY 2007 — FHI Egypt collaborated with Egypt's Ministry of Health and Population to publish "National HIV/AIDS Clinical Care: A Reference Guide for Physicians." The guide was developed to train doctors working in Egypt in the diagnosis and management of HIV/AIDS, related illnesses and opportunistic infections.
