Modhumita – High-Quality Health Services for MARPs
The Modhumita Program is a follow-on to the Bangladesh AIDS Program that was successfully completed in October 2009. The program's overarching objective is to support an effective HIV prevention strategy through improved prevention, care, and treatment services for most-at-risk populations (MARPS), and a strengthened national response.

Bangladesh AIDS Program (BAP)
From 2000–2005, FHI implemented USAID's IMPACT Project in Bangladesh. From then until October 2009, we managed USAID's Bangladesh AIDS Program (BAP), working with 21 local organizations and NGOs on 23 projects to provide a strong, coherent approach to outreach among the most vulnerable. Now BAP is scaling up and integrating HIV prevention efforts and provision of clinical services. Drop-in centers—branded as Modhumita—provide health services for vulnerable populations in strategic HIV and AIDS "hotspots." (see above)
